members will also be able to run for positions on the Board of
Directors. The revised
Bylaws are posted
on the ACPA website.
A resolution
to support the framework to develop legislation that regulates
Chemistry, Biology and Forestry Professionals within one Act was
passed unanimously by the members represented at the AGM. As the
members of ASPB, CAPF and CAPFT have also supported this
resolution, work towards a Natural Sciences and Environmental
Professions Act will continue.

Professional dues in Alberta.
|
ACPA
membership dues will increase this fall to $250 for P.Chem. members
and an additional $25 for most other membership categories. This
increase is required to meet the rising costs of ACPA activities.
The ACPA fees compare favourably with the fees of other
professional associations in Alberta.
